Pokesafari: Nidoking by SebasVishno Pokesafari: Nidoking by SebasVishno
I had a probelm with the hard disk of my computer and I've lost everything. Every picture I was working on, erased. And every back-up I had of pictures I've already uploaded here. Comic pages, well, you know. EVERYTHING.
I was really pissed off when I've been given my old computer with a new hard disk, and I needed to do something important, that would take me a lot of hours working. So, well, here it is. Nidoking being attack by a pack of persians. Why persians and not liepards, luxrays or pyroars? Well, I wanted persians, sue me (?).
Hahaha, ok, here it is, no lion, leopard or tigger is the king of these fields, because, it is Nidoking.

Nidoking, nidoqueen, nidorino and perian belongs to Nintendo.

I love it!
I don't know if you necesseraily want critique but here have some:
- You could lighten the piece up with some nice and bright sunlight,
since you're goin for an african style painting here.
- The Perian in the foreround would look even more awesome if you would put some more tension in his shoulder and neck muscles - maybe even lower his head a bit more to make him (or her) more agressive!
Again I really like this piece and you are a lot better than me already but I thought this might help you!

Thank you! Always good (and even bad) critique is welcomed!
In case of the light and brightness, I wanted this piece look more cloudy and late in the day. However, if I had originally a different approach, some more light would have worked as you said.
And I totally agree with the persian tension in muscles. I looked at some lion references to do it but I wasn't quite able to capture its aggressiveness. Well, that means only one thing: practice, practice, practice! haha
Again, thank you for your comment :)

Awesome. I like how you made Nidoking more rhino-like.
